Lancashire Red Rose Responding Fund
The Community Foundation for Lancashire – which is managing all donations received to the Fund, ensuring they reach the most vulnerable people affected by the coronavirus – has worked in partnership with the National Emergencies Trust (NET) and Lancashire Resilience Forum.
NET has provided over £1.6m to the Lancashire Responding COVID-19 Community Support Fund, with an additional £220,000 coming from Local Authorities who form the Lancashire Resilience Forum with partners including police, fire and health.
The Lancashire COVID-19 Community Support Virgin Money Giving platform is an online giving option which has been established so the people of Lancashire can also easily contribute, if they can, to the immense need of the most vulnerable in our community.
The Coronavirus outbreak is having a devastating impact on communities throughout Lancashire.
