2024 – 2025
April 2024 to September 2024
In the first 6 months of 2024 we have distributed 175 grants across Lancashire and Merseyside totalling £1,233,803
Grants in 2024 so far have primarily addressed the issue of access to education and learning. Our largest fund in terms of numbers of grants awarded with 12 grants issued in Lancashire is our Red Rose Responding Fund. The Fort Vale Foundation distributed the most funding, with over £40,000 awarded to groups across Pendle, Burnley, and Ribble Valley.
2023 – 2024
April 2023 to March 2024
In 2023 we distributed 504 grants across Lancashire and Merseyside totalling £3,344,741
Grants in 2023 primarily addressed the issue of mental health. The largest fund in terms of numbers of grants awarded was the Red Rose Responding Fund which awarded 26 grants across Lancashire focused on reducing social isolation, young peoples mental health, and EDI. Know Your Neighbourhood distributed the most funding with £1,171,333 issued to groups in Blackpool to encourage volunteer and reduce isolation.
2022 – 2023
April 2022 to March 2023
In 2022 we distributed 360 grants across Lancashire and Merseyside totalling £3,289,468
Grants in 2022 primarily addressed the topic of health & wellbeing. Our largest fund in terms of numbers of grants awarded was the Red Rose Responding Fund who issued 35 grants across Lancashire. The NHS CT Community Partnerships distributed £757,406 to address health needs such as mental health, wellbeing, and hospice care.
