At the Community Foundation for Lancashire, our mission is to connect people who care with causes that matter, and May and June have been a month full of meaningful moments and community-driven impact.

Congratulations to FPC on 25 years in Ainsdale and 5 incredible years of the FPC Foundation

Our team joined over 150 guests celebrating our partners FPC and their foundation at Titanic Hotel and Rum Warehouse Liverpool. To mark the occasion, we created an impact report.

Seeing is Believing

Our Lancashire Investors in Community (LIiC ) spent the day hearing more about the work of HARV Domestic Abuse Services and Spring Into Action CIC. Seeing is Believing is one the benefits of joining LIiC, providing businesses with an opportunity to connect with local community groups.

The Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAS)

Our Deputy CEO and Development Director, Karen Morris , and Programmes and Marketing Executive, Amy Norris, attended The Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAS) Reception with Afternoon Tea, held in the historic Churchill Room at the House of Commons, on behalf of the Community Foundation for Lancashire. The event brought together inspiring women in business, including previous winners, this year’s finalists, and sponsors, for an afternoon of celebration and mutual support.

Red Rose Winners Drinks

Our Senior Development Manager, Tim Mitchell attended the Red Rose Awards Winners Reception to celebrate the success of many great businesses in Lancashire and hearing their journeys and stories.

Dig In: A Garden That Grows More Than Plants

To celebrate Mental Health Week we visited Dig In, a veteran-led mental health charity in Lancashire that’s transforming lives through gardening. We heard directly from service users how it makes a difference.

Looking Ahead

As we move through 2025, the Community Foundation for Lancashire remains committed to championing local heroes, empowering communities, and building bridges between generous donors and the vital organisations they support.

Every event, every conversation, and every connection remind us of the strength that exists across our region, and the role we all play in shaping a kinder, safer, and more resilient Lancashire.
