Finance Team completes Race for a Reason for Alfie’s Squad
Three days, one finish line and not a single missing receipt.
Our Finance Team, Sharon and Juliet, have completed Alfie’s Squad’s Race for a Reason, raising £865 so far for the charity.
The challenge saw the pair racing round the UK over three days covering a total distance of 590 miles! It was a test of teamwork, planning and stamina, and, being from Finance, they kept a close eye on the budget throughout. The budget was tight, the effort was unlimited and the result was outstanding.
Alfie’s Squad supports children and families bereaved by suicide. The money raised through challenges like Race for a Reason helps the charity continue that work, offering support to families at an incredibly difficult time. Find out more about Alfie’s Squad here.
Sharon and Juliet’s fundraising page is still open, and every donation, whatever the size, will help Alfie’s Squad keep supporting families who need it.
A huge thank you to Sharon and Juliet for taking on the challenge, and to everyone who has donated, followed along and cheered them on.
