Lancashire Investors in Community Annual Dinner 2025
We returned to the stunning Browsholme Hall to celebrate five years of the Lancashire Investors in Community (LIiC) initiative.
Launched by the Community Foundation for Lancashire (CFL), LIiC gives businesses of all sizes an accessible and meaningful way to support their local community. Over the past five years, the initiative has welcomed many of Lancashire’s leading businesses—large and small—who share the belief that business success is about more than profit; it’s also about making the places where we live and work better for everyone.
The 5th Annual LIiC Dinner had a truly special atmosphere. Eighty-five guests enjoyed a superb meal by Twelve Catering and heard inspiring contributions from Amanda Parker Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire, Edwin Booth CBE DL, Ram Gupta BEM and CFL’s Rae Brooke and Tim Mitchell.
Membership of LIiC starts at £1,000 for businesses with fewer than 250 employees, and £2,500 for larger organisations. Benefits include invitations to exclusive networking events—the Annual Dinner, Summer Drinks, and Christmas Drinks—as well as access to four ‘Seeing is Believing’ visits. These visits give members the opportunity to meet community leaders and grassroots charities making a difference across Lancashire, while also providing practical ways to demonstrate social responsibility to partners and stakeholders.
We extend our thanks to the evening’s sponsors, Marsden Building Society, CCLA, and Big Tank Productions, and to all our members and guests who helped make the evening such a success.
This year’s attendees included: AMS Accounts Group, Studholme Bell, CCLA, Browsholme Hall, Nori HR, PM+M, Summit Communications, TP Financial Solutions, Green Arc, Saffron Group, Seriun IT, Brabners LLP, Big Tank, Marsden Building Society, Aqualease, Utopia Foundation, Creative World, Evelyn, Fort Vale Engineering, EH Booth & Co Ltd, Burnley Boys & Girls Club, Limitless PR, Beevers & Struthers, Empine Print, Cube Thinking, Printed Cup Company, Community Futures, The Business Network Central & East Lancashire, AEDOS Capital Partners, James Hall & Co, Senseco Systems, Champ Funeral Services, Envirosystems UK, Orca Finance, Unity Trust Bank, University of Central Lancashire, Financial Planning Corporation, JM Glendinning Insurance Brokers, Harrison Drury Solicitors, MHA, BAE Systems, Accrington Stanley FC, Home Grown.
