July and August Event Highlights
At the Community Foundation for Lancashire, our mission is to connect people who care with causes that matter, and July and August have been months full of meaningful moments and community-driven impact.
TramShed
In July our team attended an inclusive Musical Theatre Experience by the fantastic Tram Shed Theatre Company Ltd, who have been creating powerful, original performances that celebrate diversity since 2007.
Tram shed have received over £122,000 from Community Foundation for Lancashire through Know Your Neighbourhood, Marsden Building Society Charitable Foundation, ACE Lets Create Jubilee Fund and WO Street Foundation to support their work. East Lancs Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Ball
Our team headed to the East Lancashire Chamber Annual Ball, the event brought together businesses, trade expert and partners to share knowledge around export growth, sustainability and the future of international trade in region.
It was a great opportunity to connect with businesses and promote the Lancashire Investors in Community initiative.

Pink Link Summer Regional Event – Lancashire
In August, our business development team attended the Pink Link Summer Regional Event – Lancashire, held at the Wellbeing Farm.
The event was a great opportunity to support local businesses led by women and hear their inspiring stories.
Special guests included (but were not limited to) some very polite llamas!
