Help us to help your parishioners; a fund in support of women living in hardship.
Things can happen in your life and you may need help paying for personal or household items that you can’t cover.
South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation administer the Deakin and Withers fund and this supports women over 40 who are single, divorced or widowed, living in hardship or facing financial difficulty. To apply, you must be a member of a church which is a member of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland. Grant funding can support a range of essential household items or contribute towards utility bills, but cannot fund items already paid for or holidays.
If you are successful, the award is made within six weeks of receiving your application.
Each grant application is assessed on its own merit and help offered depending on individual circumstances. You can apply for up to £880.
